Dr. Roberts is leading ARA’s ARC4 augmented reality technology development for military and commercial applications. He serves as Principle Investigator and Program Manager of numerous augmented reality programs at ARA, including the DARPA ULTRA-Vis program, on which ARA developed heads-up situational awareness capabilities for outdoor on-the-move dismounted soldier operations, and RDECOM/PEO-STRI programs focused on developing in-the-field soldier immersive training and visualization tools. Dr. Roberts received his S.B., S.M., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 1995, 1997, and 2002, respectively.
