Xiao “Nikita” Xiong

Xiao “Nikita” Xiong is a graduating MS candidate in Human-Computer Interaction at Georgia Tech. Her mission is to create joyful and intuitive interfaces and experiences for mobile and environmental scales with a user-centered design approach. She is especially interested in bridging the physical and virtual worlds with augmented reality and tangible interactions. She has previously worked as a UI/UX designer for mobile apps and interactive museum displays. She holds a BFA in Digital Film & TV Production and an MA of Digital Media Art from Communication University of China in Beijing.

Gheric Speiginer

Gheric is a PhD student advised by Dr. Blair MacIntyre in the Augmented Environments Lab at the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Tech. He is interested in exploring novel user interfaces and interaction techniques, particularly those that exploit the unique characteristics of augmented reality. His current research focus explores the use of adaptive user interface concepts in order to address the design and usability challenges posed by dynamically changing contexts in augmented reality experiences. His research is supported by the NSF GRFP and GEM fellowships.

Dustin Harris

Dustin Harris recently completed his MS in Human-Computer Interaction at Georgia Tech. He is interested in augmented reality as means of uncovering more information about the world around us in an unobtrusive way. He is also interested in how urban data collection can enable new augmented reality experiences. He currently works as a Program Manager at Microsoft.
