He is acting director and liaison of a student initiated organization with the Web3D Consortium, where he also works with the Consortium’s global outreach and education initiatives. Formerly he worked with the 3D web company MediaMachines and then the virtual world company Vivaty. He is currently working with IDEAbuilder, a company that uses mixed reality technologies and robotic manufacturing to build homes more “green” and efficiently. Damon is actively involved with the 3D web’s convergence with other Metaverse technologies. With a passion for education and immersive tech, he has built several web3D learning applications and is leading dozens of 3D web and mixed reality research projects in multiple domains.
