Managing Director, Content Innovation Lab, Sesame Workshop Miles leads a group that focuses on the intersection of emerging technologies and educational outcomes to identify key platforms for Sesame Workshop to deliver its content now and in the future, and advocates for innovation in the creation of that content. The Lab plays an additive supporting role across projects to analyze opportunities and trends, making recommendations for the achievement of greater and more sustained impact by capitalizing on the potential of technology to deliver educational experiences. Previously, Miles led the Digital Media team that was awarded two Emmys (2009/10), a Webby (2010) and a Peabody award (2010). He was previously the Creative Director of Elias Arts’ Sound Intelligence Group, and the co-founder of Kirt Gunn & Associates, Inc. (KGA), an interactive advertising agency. At KGA, he led a team that created cross-platform campaigns for Diageo, LVMH, Ford, and Volvo. Miles was educated at Brown University and New York University....

Mindy is responsible for the integration of educational content across digital media platforms and for leading field research on all media platforms that include Sesame Street and The Electric Company. In her role, she is responsible for integrating education as well as developing studies, coding systems, analyzing data, writing reports and summarizing findings to production teams. Jay has been Senior Web Designer for the Forbes Favorite award-winning Multex Investor website; Designer at thirdmind.com, where he worked on websites for major international brands such as Conde-Nast magazines; and Art Director at Sensei Health, coordinating programs for major multinational companies. Jay is also an artist who has worked in both painting and relational aesthetics, including the 2008-2009 project, “Brooklyn is Watching“, a mixed reality project in Second Life and the legendary Brooklyn art gallery “Jack The Peclican Presents”. Christopher Stapleton, is President of Simiosys Real World Laboratory (www.Simiosys.com), an applied research firm for innovative experiential media installations to expand human performance and perception. He has applied his success in designing and producing future concepts for Disney, Universal, Nickelodeon, Canon and Sanrio to advance user experience (UX) for next-generation entertainment, education and training. His research projects have been funded by NASA, National Science , Department of Defense and the the Department of Education. As the Founding Director of the University of Central Florida’s Media Convergence Laboratory, he pioneered the use of Mixed Reality for mainstream media and experiential venues such as museums, schools, entertainment centers, hospitals, retail marketing and conferences. His role as General Co-chair of the International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR) he founded their MR research forum in the Arts, Media and Humanities. As Visiting Professor at the Technical University of Munich, he collaborated with the Computer Aided Medical Procedure (CAMP) to explore how to stimulate the systematic workflow of innovation from laboratory to operating procedures.
