The Auggies promote excellence in Augmented Reality across various platforms and categories worldwide. The competition is an initiative by AugmentedReality.org, the producer of Augmented World Expo (AWE) – the world’s largest gathering of professionals focused on Augmented and Virtual Reality, Wearable Tech, and the Internet of Things. The awards are consistent with AugmentedReality.org’s mission to educate, connect, and hatch new initiatives in the augmented world, and its global goal to inspire adoption towards one billion active AR users by 2020. AugmentedReality.org is co-sponsoring this competition, offering award trophies and cash prizes.
