Aakanksha is working as a Software programmer at Microsoft. She has been with Microsoft for 3 years now. Currently she is working towards creating an extensible framework around augmented reality cum infotainment system, named Ripple. A fast paced learner and enthusiast, She has also worked with the Windows Phone and Microsoft Compact Embedded team to deliver an end-to-end framework for end-users. She collaborated with the teams across Microsoft to create an application which can do intelligent Optical Character recognition post enhancements and automatically share it with people via email. She also has experience in domains like file systems, viruses/Trojans, data performance optimizations and Cloud. When not working, she likes to Play Sports like Cricket and Basketball. She graduated in Computer Science from NIT Kurukshetra in the year 2011.
