Jay Wright

Jay Wright is responsible for developing and driving Qualcomm’s augmented reality commercialization strategy. In this role, Mr. Wright handles partnerships with leading innovators in industry and academia, and leads Qualcomm’s efforts in enabling augmented reality within the mobile ecosystem. Mr. Wright has been with Qualcomm since January 2008, and brings 17 years of experience in developing software and services for mobile and wireless devices. Beginning in 1993 with the launch of Apple’s Newton PDA, Mr. Wright envisioned that low-cost consumer devices would enable a new wave of enterprise automation for mobile workers. As Founder and CEO of Wright Strategies Inc., he led the development of tools and software infrastructure that enabled Windows solution providers to develop and deploy PDA applications capable of synchronizing data with enterprise data sources. The company’s FormLogic software platform was used to deploy tens of thousands of devices for industry leaders including Anheuser Busch, Apple, Disney, Hasbro, Maybelline, Microsoft, and Taco Bell. As an inventor and software engineer Mr. Wright holds three patents – two of which encompass data synchronization between mobile devices and have been regarded as landmark patents in the field of wireless email....

Noah Zerkin is a prototyper of wearable electronics who has been following the development of Augmented Reality since the mid-nineties. He has independently developed datagloves and limb-tracking systems, and as part of the Human Aerospace Lab at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, developed self-contained high-frequency wireless data-capture devices for use in movement disorder and tuberculosis research. He is currently working on developing an inexpensive, wearable, and unobtrusive full-body inertial motion-capture system for use with the next generation of head-mounted displays in mobile Augmented Reality applications....

Co-Founder of Frozen Chili Studio. Kate is a multilingual (English, Italian, French, Russian and Polish) whiz kid and a born leader. She lived and worked in Poland, Italy, Germany and Greece. She has an MA of International Relation with specialization of International Project Management. Her varied work experience ranges from senior project manager in the Game Development industry through sole responsibility for organizing International fair and congresses and most importantly she has worked in the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union as a Liaison Officer (there were 85 highly qualified applicants per one place). This experience made her feel at ease with VIPs as well as to master the official diplomatic protocol. She is fascinated by the IT industry and the multitalented people working in it. With a sheer strength of her personality she pulled a team of IT geeks to create her dream company – and stands proudly at its leader. She pulls the team through difficult, bootstrapping stage thanks to her character and enthusiasm. But most of all, she is driven by passion for truly innovative use of AR which combines learning to play and breaks new ground in marketing, keeping it fun!...
