He is currently developing the Augmented Reality prototype development in the industry-lead TELLME project (http://tellme-ip.eu), innovating learning technologies for manufacturing environments. Fridolin is member of the Knowledge Media Institute of the OU since 2009. From 2004 to 2009 he was researcher at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria). He graduated 2004 as magister artium from the University of Regensburg (Germany). David was previously the chief architect of the Croquet Project, an open source virtual world collaboration platform. In 1987, he created The Colony, the first real-time 3D adventure game/shooter and the precursor to today’s first-person shooters.
