CANDY LAB LAUNCHES CANDY B.A.R.™ – INDUSTRY’S FIRST BLENDED AUGMENTED REALITY PLATFORM

Santa Clara, CA, May 26, 2014 – Candy Lab will present Candy B.A.R.™ at the Augmented World Expo 2014 taking place May 26th – 29th, 2014 in Santa Clara, CA. Candy B.A.R. is a unique marketing platform for brands and events looking to maximize user engagement through highly-engaging, location-specific offers and promotional campaigns. Candy B.A.R.’s breakthrough technology platform will be demonstrated to technology leaders, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and media at the widely-publicized Augmented World Expo event. Combining the concepts of Google AdWords, Foursquare, and Super Mario Brothers, Candy B.A.R. delivers a highly engaging augmented reality experience to bring marketers’ promotions to life on mobile devices—driving real-time targeted local traffic to specific locations. “Candy B.A.R. produces location-based augmented reality marketing applications to drive user conversions for advertising campaigns, events, and games.” says Andrew Couch, Founder and CEO of Candy Lab Inc. Developed for events and national promotions alike, Candy Lab partners upload content to Candy B.A.R. and determine precise real-world locations where they would like their offers and content to appear. Candy B.A.R. then displays these offers on users’ mobile devices by superimposing realistic virtual objects, like branded gold coins, on devices’ camera view screens; allowing content and offers to appear as if they exist in the real world. Users are incentivized to collect these virtual items in a scavenger hunt akin to a real-life Super Mario Brothers experience. Candy B.A.R. apps, GPS augmented reality engines, and the dashboards that manage them are fully functional and currently live in two U.S. cities: Saint Louis, MO & Corpus Christi, TX. The apps are called “STL250” and “Stop The Wrath.” Candy Lab is currently expanding and is in active discussions with a number of Fortune 500 corporations, government organizations, and global media firms. Inglobe Technologies releases ARmedia SDK with Unique Object 3D Tracking Features

Rome, May 26, 2014. The Development Lab of Inglobe Technologies today announced that the company will release the ARmedia 3D SDK and platform on the first day of Augmented World Expo in Santa Clara, CA. The ARmedia 3D SDK v.1.0.0 features advanced 3D object tracking, a new 3D mapping and tracking approach that allows to create first of a class augmented reality (AR) applications capable of recognizing and tracking objects independently of their size and geometry. Inglobe Technologies first demonstrated the ARmedia 3D Tracker prototype working on mobile devices in Santa Clara during Augmented World Expo 2013 catching the eye of many interested users. The new release will bring an enhanced version of the technology to the community of developers with extended support for multiple platforms and authoring environments, like for example Unity3D. With the ARmedia 3D SDK users will be able to create applications and systems that link the digital and physical world in ways never experienced before. The ARmedia SDK enables a new generation of applications that redefine the boundary of indoor and outdoor augmented reality in domains like industrial maintenance, interactive gaming, architectural visualization and cultural heritage, just to mention some. “While developing the ARmedia 3D SDK we have tried to bridge the gap between what users and developers expect from augmented reality technology and what they actually have.” Said Graziano Terenzi, CEO at Inglobe Technologies. “Our 3D tracking technology adds a new form of intelligence to the environment and allows users to develop products and solutions never imagined before”. The ARmedia 3D SDK allows to create a new generation of gaming applications on site thus allowing developers to add digital interaction to real world objects around us and create funny and engaging experiences. By using the ARmedia 3D SDK technology users can populate a historical site with virtual characters, help represent and reconstruct the past, like for example a battle or even take part to a battle as an active player and try to change the course of events. The 3D object recognition and tracking technology of the ARmedia 3D SDK does not just recognize planar images but also complex 3D objects and is suitable for applications in the industry. This capability will address the growing need of different industries (like AEC, Aerospace, Automotive and Process Industry) to enhance their processes by means of the interaction of physical and digital information. Developers can register for the SDK on the ARmedia developer website of Inglobe Technologies www.inglobetechnologies.com/dev starting from May 28th. Pantomime 3D App Launches Interactive VR and Augmented Reality Platform

Pantomime Corporation has launched the first truly interactive augmented reality platform in a new app, Pantomime 3D™, available free today in the App Store. Pantomime 3D lets iPad and iPhone users reach in and interact with physically realistic, 3D animated augmented reality worlds on any table. By balancing the device on the table or paddling it in the air, users can not only look around and move, but can realistically interact in virtual scenes. As the mobile device moves, Pantomime’s patent-pending algorithms keep the virtual world perfectly in place. The entire scene is seamlessly merged with live video, as if viewers are looking through the mobile device and touching real objects on the table with it. The effect often leaves viewers stunned: “That’s the most amazing app I’ve ever seen.” To introduce mobile users to interactive augmented reality, the creators of Pantomime 3D are offering it free of charge for a limited time. It is a universal app that runs on every iOS device. In Pantomime 3D, a user’s device is transported into a small, realistic game court, able to paddle a virtual ball into a hole in the table or over a translucent ramp, all with realistic graphics, physics and sound. AUGMENTED REALITY INNOVATION Until now, augmented reality systems such as Qualcomm Vuforia™ have typically used a device’s rear video camera, pre-printed target images, and live image processing to track motion. That requires setup, is brittle in practice, and impacts performance. Pantomime requires no setup, works perfectly even in darkness, and runs so fast all the physical interactions look real. It tracks motion accurately using models of how the mobile device is shaped and supported — how it’s being tipped or gripped — and using the device’s steady built-in gyroscopes. Most important, previous augmented reality systems supported viewing but not 3D interaction. Reaching into worlds to touch a virtual object with a mobile device wasn’t possible before. “Pantomime is the first consumer friendly, interactive augmented reality and VR platform,” said Pantomime Corporation CEO and virtual reality pioneer Dr. David Levitt. “It solves the key problem of interactive VR and AR: How do you reach into worlds in 3D? The answer: with devices we all have in our pockets, and Pantomime.” The Pantomime 3D app introduces mobile users to interactive augmented reality. On screen Guides show just how the device is being supported on the table or paddled; a video tutorial shows how to move through the space and hit the ball. Standard touch gestures let users move and turn in the virtual world without moving the device, essential for extended mobile use. Earlier uses of Pantomime have stunned app users and critics, and drawn crowds at developer conferences. Levity Novelty’s Invisibility app reached #1 Paid iPad Entertainment App shortly after its release, with rave reviews from Gizmodo – “High on the WOW factor!” – and others. Today’s joint launch of Pantomime 3D, by Levity Novelty and recently founded Pantomime Corporation, reflects a structure where Levity Novelty produces entertainment apps while Pantomime Corporation licenses Pantomime Technology™ to third party developers and for a wider range of applications. About Pantomime Corporation Pantomime Corporation of Sebastopol, California was founded in March 2014 to deploy the Pantomime Platform™ for interactive and shared augmented reality and VR experiences. The company was founded by virtual reality pioneer Dr. David Levitt and The Sims™ architect Don Hopkins. The company was immediately selected by Silicon Valley Forum’s Launch World Cup Tech Challenge, where the company is one of 6 finalists in the Digital Media / Mobile category competing internationally on May 20th. The company’s flagship Pantomime 3D™ software and its revolutionary technology will be presented at the Augmented Reality World Expo in Santa Clara, CA on May 27-29. About Levity Novelty LLC Levity Novelty LLC is a creator of novel app experiences to startle and delight users and amaze their friends. The company’s previous apps have included Invisibility and 5-star apps Alive Albums and Invisibility 3D....
