Patrick Ryan is an Engineering Project Manager in the Technology Development Division at Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS). A Naval Architect by education, Patrick has been with NNS for 15 years in various Engineering and Program Office roles. He has been leading the R&D efforts into the Industrial use of Augmented Reality for Shipbuilding applications since February of 2011. Patrick has a Bachelor’s Degree in Ocean and Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a Master’s Degree in Ocean Engineering, also from Virginia Tech.
